Redvers Lee is the current chairperson of the firm. He is a specialist conveyancer with substantial experience in transfers, bonds, servitudes, property developments and sectional title schemes. He was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer in 1985 and as a notary public in 2000.
Nosipo Mgojo is a director of the Conveyancing Division. She joined the firm in 1997 and was admitted as an Attorney & Conveyancer in 1999 and as a Notary public in 2001. She is experienced in the registration of servitudes, local transfers, bonds and property development transfers.
Hannah Szudrawski holds a B.Com LLB (UKZN), as well as a diploma in Deceased Estates Practice (UNISA). She joined Venns in 1996, was appointed a director in 2003, and has headed the Trustee Division for the last 14years.
Hiresen Govender joined Venns in 2007 and acts for a number of public sector clients including, state owned entities, municipalities, provincial departments, statutory bodies, and tertiary institutions. His areas of focus are litigation and drafting in commercial, procurement and regulatory matters.
Craig is a director who is currently within the Specialized Recoveries Team aimed at debt collection for corporates and individuals alike. He is also an experienced
attorney in criminal law and general litigation, both though within his
sphere of expertise.
Lauren Maltby is a director within our Property Division who has a wealth of knowledge in Property Law and specialises in transfers in sectional title schemes and large property developments.
Mohammed Motala is a Director in Venn’s litigation, commercial, dispute resolution and insolvency department. He is also a liquidator on the National Panel of Liquidators in South Africa and a certified Business Rescue Practitioner.
Tim practices principally in the areas of commercial law, public sector law and labour law. He provides commercial and other legal advice to large, medium and small businesses, entrepreneurs, tertiary educational institutions, municipalities, public entities and government departments.
Zandile Luthuli is a professional assistant in our Litigation Division. She focuses on Road Accident Fund matters.
Keran Henwood is an associate in our Property Conveyancing Division. She focuses on general conveyancing.
Guy Smith is a unique attorney who has combined his legal expertise with practical experience. A developer of niche residential developments, such as Prince’s Grant, Gowrie and Garlington, a property lawyer and conveyancer with over 30 years experience.
Rob Pennefather attended Rhodes university to complete both BA and B Com degrees. He graduated LLB and worked as a partner of Brokensha, Meyer & Ptns. Rob has extensive experience and theoretical knowledge of Civil Procedure in both the High Court and the Magistrates’ Courts.
Andries Geyser’s legal skills are varied, with experience in most fields, however his preferred areas of practice include commercial work, insolvency enquiries and litigation

Simon Francis, a consultant in our Commercial Division, specialises in agricultural, commercial and estate planning law.
John Wallace qualified as an attorney in 1980 and specialised in Tax Law, Trusts and Estate Planning.
Patrick Deale, a consultant to the firm supporting our Labour Law Department practice. He has a national reputation for dealing with Unions and labour disputes and is assisted by Carlo Torino.
