During our vac work program, our students are rotated between different departments and assigned to shadow a candidate attorney in that department.
Students will be given a moot topic (which will be something prevalent and possibly something that Venns Attorneys has recently dealt with). They will then be divided into two teams and towards the end of the program they will present their case to the Moot Court and thereafter Judgment will be given.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about civil procedure and substantive law. Students will have many exciting opportunities to go to High Court and Magistrates’ Court.
We have an open door policy at Venns and you are welcome to speak to any of the attorneys and obtain assistance from them during the program.
