Labour Law News

Patrick Deale is well known in South Africa as an expert in labour and commercial dispute resolution, a field in which he has over 25 years’ experience. He has worked as a senior executive for a listed company and co-founded Tokiso Dispute Settlement (Pty) Ltd, the largest dispute resolution agency in the country. He also served as Tokiso’s CEO for six years. He is the co-author of the Labour Relations Handbook, published by Juta and was a regular host of the  labour line on Talk Radio 702.

Patrick has worked with some of South Africa’s most prestigious companies and brings with him a wealth of experience in the labour  and dispute resolution fields. His specialisation includes collective and individual labour disputes, employment contracts, restraints of trade and business disputes.

Patrick was recently appointed as an acting judge in the labour law court.
